Angelica Lai

Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Angelica holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She is a registered member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC) and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC).

Angelica has a broad range of experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), and other speech, language, and communication challenges. She has worked in various settings, including public health, private practice, schools, and home environments. Her clinical interests also include speech sound disorders, fluency, narrative language, and social communication.

Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Angelica values creating safe, inclusive spaces for families with diverse lived experiences. She is committed to using a family-centered approach, ensuring that her practice is responsive to the cultural, linguistic, and social backgrounds of her clients.

In her free time, Angelica enjoys reading, working on art projects, and sharing good food with friends.
