Lindy Bailey

Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Lindy received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of British Columbia. She is registered with the College of Care and Health Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC) and is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). Lindy is on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).

Lindy has received training from Meaningful Speech to help support children who are gestalt language processors. She is certified to practice Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC), which is an approach to support children with childhood apraxia of speech. Lindy frequently participates in online webinars and short courses to stay current in the topics of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Autism Spectrum Disorder as it relates to early intervention.

Lindy’s passion is working with complex communication needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and early language intervention. She practices neurodiversity affirming therapy by respecting and valuing the different communication and learning styles that accompany different neurological makeups. She believes in constant collaboration with families to build realistic, functional communication goals and trusting relationships. She is passionate about play-based therapy, and knows that your child learns best while having fun!"
