Navita Dhahan
Registered Speech Language Pathologist
Navita received her Master of Speech and Language Pathology degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. She also has a previous graduate diploma working as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Navita has experience working with a variety of populations, including children with Speech Sound Disorders, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Gestalt Language Processors, and Fluency Disorders. Her clinical experience spans various settings, including public health, private practice, schools, and home environments.
Navita is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC), a member of Speech and Hearing BC, and Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC). She is also on the registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). Navita has completed training in Oral Resting Postures, PROMPT, the Lidcombe Program, and holds a Meaningful Speech Certification.
In addition to her clinical work, Navita serves on the provincial council with Speech and Hearing BC as the Director of Social Media.
In her spare time, Navita enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, and working as a Pilates instructor.
