Riddhi Thaker

Registered Speech Language Pathologist

Riddhi completed her M.S. in Communication Disorders: Speech Language Pathology at Minot State University, USA and has a previous graduate diploma working as a Communicative Disorders Assistant.

She is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC), a member of Speech and Hearing BC, and is certified by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC), and with the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). Riddhi is also on the Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP).

Riddhi has experience working with children of all ages, abilities, and cultural needs and strives to use an evidence-based practice within an affirming, family-centred service while keeping therapy engaging and functional for her young clients. Her interests include speech sound and motor-planning disorders, AAC, fluency, literacy, and developmental language disorders.

Riddhi is Hanen Certified in It Takes Two to Talk, Target Word, and More Than Words as well as the Lidicombe Program and maintains ongoing continuing education in the areas of neurodiversity affirming care, feeding, and AAC. Riddhi is fluent in Gujarati and moderately fluent in Hindi.
